A LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens tail (caudal) vertebra from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. Very good bone quality and color. The vertebra is very complete with both processes and a good section of the neural arch with a well defined neural notch remains. Very good bone preservation. Basic crack fill on the two processes which is to be expected. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Carter Co., Montana. A Very Rare, Top Quality Hexanchus sp. lower jaw tooth from the Englishman River, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a new and undescribed genius / species from a Santonian (Late Cretaceous) deposit - 85 MMYA. A very unique species of Hexanchiforme shark. A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine or incisor tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An incredible red colored crown and a brown root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a very small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. A very rare, LARGE, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. A unique brown colored tooth - very unusual.. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. An Ultra Rare, GEM Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. A March 2021 Fossil of the Month. This colorful tooth was found in a "fire zone" site south of the Kern River. Highest quality enamel with a great tan and golden tan colors with charcoal highlights.
