A well preserved, ultra rare Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid holdfast from Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a great amount of detail. A Very Rare, Carcharias dominguei tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. The crown damaged, both side cusps damaged, and root is complete. Good quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
