Holmsella sp.; an  Extinct Primitive shark

A very rare shark skin specimen. This matrix piece is covered with dermal denticals. Shark skin impressions with denticals are extremely rare and a Paleozoic age find adds to the rarity.  An exceptional collector's piece from an old collection!

An ULTRA RARE High Quality, 6"+ Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. A May Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 5-13/16" (straight line) or 6-1/4" (on curve) and 1-7/8" wide. The enamel is the very good quality with some wear. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is very good quality with typical crack fill and some wear from tumbling down a Hell Creek stream. This is a real ~6" tooth. No major restoration or fill  and not a "Frankenstein" combination tooth like other sellers have offered. The serrations were very worn and were professionally restored. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. See the detailed description to determine how to tell a real T-Rex tooth! A GEM, LARGE Seal Canine tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. The seal teeth are rarely seen and they do not get any better quality than this one. An incredibly preserved Miocene seal canine tooth. A fantastic collector's tooth. It is ashame that there is no more access to the Lee Creek mine. This is an old collection piece.

A HUGE, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a very large adult Rex. A June 2020 Fossil of the Month. This massive Rex crown measures 4-9/16" (straight up) or 4-7/8" (straight line) or 5"+ (on curve) and has a big root (2" Wide). The enamel is good quality with some root etchings and natural cracks. Good brown color. The serrations are worn, but visible. The tip is good. Cracks are stabilized with some crack fill. No breaks - possibly one. A natural tooth from a BIG Rex! Note - most teeth of this size that you see are heavy restored and sometimes two teeth are put together! This tooth has original enamel from tip to base. A rare COLORFUL pair of Top Quality Great White shark teeth - a upper jaw anterior tooth and a lower jaw tooth from Chile. An upper and lower jaw tooth naturally trapped in time in a vug within the Chilean phosphorite matrix! These teeth have Tan & Red colored crowns, a distinct gum lines, and a brown roots. Fantastic color!  Highest quality enamel. An Ultra Rare nicely prepared, Struveapis sp. trilobite. A new phacopid trilobite with diagnostic characteristics including schizochroal eyes with fewer facets, a broader cephalon, and a smoother exoskeleton. An excellent specimen with good detail and completeness. The preparation is German directed with all original colors and no restoration. Great natural black with good luster. Oneecompound eye is exceptionally preserved.
