The North Carolina Fossil Club provides an excellent guide to the Cretaceous - Eocene - Paleocene - Oligocene shark teeth from North Carolina. My recommendation for the collector's first reference guide to identify their Cretaceous - Paleocene - Eocene collection pieces.

An ultra rare Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a brown, blue & charcoal crown and a brown root. Excellent color! Razor sharp cutting edge. Extra wide root (2-5/16"). Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. Near perfect tooth. This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark. A fantastic color collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - A 3" Chilean C. hastalis tooth is rarer than a 3" Chilean Great White tooth. I have only seen a couple of them!

An incredible BLOOD RED &  BLACK Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Isurus hastalis tooth from Peru. Rare colors - only found in Peru. Excellent definition and preservation. Razor sharp edges and a sharp tip. An excellent upper jaw anterior tooth. No repair. Museum quality! A fantastic collector's tooth! You won't find another Mako like this one!

P301  BoP         SIZE: 2-1/2"

An Ultra Rare, rooted Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis tooth measuring 3-3/8". This Allosaurus crown measures 1-1/2" and is wide for its size (5/8"). The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Very good serrations on both sides all the way to the wear facet. Very good serrations for a large tooth. Two cracks was stabilizied. A little repair was done on the narrowest section of the root. Excellent overall condition with very good serrations. An excellent quality tooth! Allosuarus was the apex during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Authenticity guaranteed.  Note - a Riker case display is included. This is a special rooted Allosaurus tooth!

A fantastic, Top Quality copper-red Carcharodon hastalis tooth from the Meherrin River, No Carolina. A January Fossil of the Month. Rare copper red color with high gloss. A rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni shark posterior tooth, the extinct False Mako shark, from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. Nice tan & brown color. Excellent preservation and condition. A Miocene tooth. These teeth are not commonly found and seen. A rare collectors' tooth in high quality condition. Try finding one of these teeth! Authenticity guaranteed. I have never had a posterior tooth.

An ultra rare, top quality 5-5/8" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth. A location that produces very few large Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. Note - the interlocking indentations along the side of the root lobes. This characteristic is only seen in the early to middle Miocene Megs - very unique!  A Museum quality specimen. No repair! You will not see these middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often!  One of the rarest Megs! A collection piece from the old days.
