A GEM, LARGE Seal Canine tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. The seal teeth are rarely seen and they do not get any better quality than this one. An incredibly preserved Miocene seal canine tooth. A fantastic collector's tooth. It is ashame that there is no more access to the Lee Creek mine. This is an old collection piece.

A very rare, Trigonotodus alteri shark tooth, an extinct Giant Thresher, from So. Carolina. Nice tan color. Good preservation, but there are a some condition issues.  These teeth are rarely found and seen. A rare collectors' tooth in high quality condition. Authenticity guaranteed. This is the rarest of the Giant Thresher species.

The December 2014 week #3 "Fossil Shark Tooth of the Month" selection is a ~3-1/2" Gem Carcharocles sokolovi from Morocco. This is one of the best GEM extra large Carcharocles sokolovi that I have seen. The BEST of the BEST!

A FOTM is back. A GREEN TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Megalodon upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from the So. Edisto River, So. Carolina. A fantastic green colored crown with tan color approaching the tip, and the serration color fades to a charcoal gray color. Very cool colors! High quality enamel. The bourlette is brown.The serrations show some wear, and are essentially complete with a good tip serration. Very good serrations for a big Meg. The root is nicely articulated with a nice brown color. Excellent symmetry. This is an excellent big Meg. Weighs more than 1 lb. NO repair! AN EXCEPTIONAL BIG GREEN MEG from So. Edisto River. A High Quality Rare Alopias grandis shark tooth, an extinct GiantThresher shark, from the Meherrin River copper red site in No. Carolina. An excellent tooth with copper-red colors. Very good preservation and condition. This tooth is middle Miocene age, Hertford Co., NC. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare collectors' tooth. Try finding one of these teeth!  I have seen less than six in 30 years.

A very rare, Alopias palatasi shark tooth, an extinct serrated Giant Thresher, from So. Carolina. Nice blue color. Good preservation, but there is erosion. Serrations are visible. These teeth are rarely found and seen. A rare collectors' tooth in high quality condition. Authenticity guaranteed. This is the second rarest of the Giant Thresher species.

An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, tooth. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. The rare tooth is from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. Fantastic red color. Excellent condition - no damage. No repair. I have not seen the swimming sloth teeth for sale before. This is all of the sloth material that I have from 10+ years ago! A very rare collector's tooth.
