A rare, beautifully prepared Parahomanolotus planus trilobite. The preparation is German with all original colors and no restoration. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. Large size. This trilobite has a very unusual design. A Lower Devonian (395 mya) trilobite from Oufaten area, Atlas Mts., Morocco. Authenticity guaranteed. Museum Quality. You do not see this species very often.  Note - This specimen weighs 1.3 lbs. A shipping surcharge will apply to international orders.

"The CLASSIC BIG DEVONIAN TRILOBITE" A GEM, EXTRA LARGE Drotops megamanicus trilobite that is freestanding on a pedestal of original matrix. It is beautifully prepared to give it a sculpted effect with the bottom of the cephalon, thorax, and pygidium are fully exposed. Preparation easily took many dozens of hours to clean this specimen! Incredible detail and completeness. Compound eyes are exceptionally preserved. A Middle Devonian trilobite. All natural - an incredible display piece. Museum quality specimen. Authenticity guaranteed. The real deal! One of my favorites.
