An ultra rare, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus hand (manus) claw from the late Cretaceous of North America. A November Fossil of the Month.  Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Exceptional bone quality and color. Excellent bone preservation. The tip was repaired which is quite common for claws. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Struthiomimus manus claw.  Authenticity guaranteed. A TOP QUALITY Megalonyx leptostomus sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths and our December 2017 Fossil of the Month. This claw has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete down to a nice tip with absolutely no restoration or repair. Excellent preservation of the proximal end. There is a little eriosion on the top of the claw. A wonderful Late Pliocene - Early Pleistocene display piece from northern Florida. Authenticity guaranteed. One of my favorites!
