A very rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth with a wicked break away; a possible sign of T.rex fighting breakage. This tooth measures 2-1/4". The enamel has excellent color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a wide oval. One crack. No restoration. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. See the detailed description to determine how to tell a real T-Rex tooth! A GEM Otodus with a severely distorted cutting edge - what I refer to as the "acid" effect. The entire top of the crown is split into multiple cusps that are melting away -  a very unusual pathology. Incredible color and preservation. Museum quality.Perfect tooth.
