A LARGE "Prosqualodon" primitive dolphin tooth with a big root from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. The Knightia eocaena is a Herring-like fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA).  This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely dense and difficult to prepare.
