Two EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoids from Alnif, southeastern Morocco. A January Fossil of the Month. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). This large crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail and the calyxs are large.  These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality. Authenticity guaranteed.
