A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. Good size. A rare species! One of the ultimate Middle Devonian (380 mya) spiny trilobite from the Foum Zguid, Morocco. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand bone from the Hell Creek Fm. of Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent hand bone. Note that this is the last digit prior to the claw. Excellent brown color and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation. Note that the hand bones are quite thin and most do not survive. This one is complete. A top quality, collector's hand bone from the Hell Creek of Montana. Note - 2014 Anzu wyliei description paper attached below. The Celastrus winchesteri is a leaf from the Celastraceae family of tropical woody plants & schrubs from the Eocene age (48 MYA) in the ancient Lake Unita deposit. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and excellent color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. This leaf comes with a custom made wooden stand and ID plate (see photo). A Top Quality Ptychodus decurrens, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Travis Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous So. Bosque Shale Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with transverse ridges extending across the cusp face and the margins. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth. A rare species.

A very rare, Otodus auriculatus tooth from the copper-red site of No. Carolina. The crown has coarse serrations. The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus auriculatus teeth (early form) found at this site!
