A Top Quality Isurus praecursor, the earliest Mako shark, tooth from the phosphate mines of Hahotoe, Togo. An upper lateral tooth. Note - there is a "wedge shaped" bite mark on the side of the root! An Ultra Rare, Top Quality 4-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A March 2021 Fossil of the Month. This tooth is still embedded in its original Round Mountain silt matrix block with a large whale bone. The whale bone is 7" long and 1.5" wide. Highest quality enamel with an excellent tan color. The bourlette is a tan color and 85% complete. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. This is a middle Miocene Meg - very unique! Note - This is a 100% natural matrix block with nothing added or glued. No repair or restoration other the very tip. You will not see these middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. The enamel is excellent quality with great color / patina. Typical wear faucet from grinding on opposing teeth. Note - high center ridge and crown assymetry (see Pachy maxillary teeth differentiation discussion below). Note the nice crown wave on the left side. No cracks or restoration. An ultra rare Pachy tooth!  Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Carter Co., Montana. A rare High Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & duistally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. Two side cusplets. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.
