A 2nd May 2016 Fossil of the Month is a GEM light brown colored "Picture" Megalodon - PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Fantastic colors - a mix of light brown, reddish brown, some blue and charcoal highlights. Highest quality enamel - glass-like surface with no hydration cracks. The finest enamel preservation - very rare! A very nice deep brown bourlette - 100% complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is incredible - a medium brown, nicely articulated, and complete with no hydration cracks on the display side. One of the finest preserved Megalodon teeth that I have seen. A LARGE, Top Quality, Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. An anterior tooth. This tooth has an excellent tan color and a white root. Sharp edges and tip. An EXCELLENT I. desori, the Narrow-tooth Mako - anterior tooth. Very nice golden tan color with excellent gloss. The root shows incredible detail. Absolutely great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and tip. These are Miocene age teeth from the Pungo River Fm. Fantastic collector's teeth. Near Museum quality.
