A FOTM is back. A GREEN TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Megalodon upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from the So. Edisto River, So. Carolina. A fantastic green colored crown with tan color approaching the tip, and the serration color fades to a charcoal gray color. Very cool colors! High quality enamel. A RARE, Troodon formosus tooth from the Judith River Fm. of western North America. Anterior tooth. Troodontid teeth are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with a good brown color.  Good large posterior and excellent anterior serrations. Please note that Judith River Fm. Troodon teeth typically have anterior serrations. There is damage to the tip. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a large section of the lower jaw showing at least 20 teeth still in place. Bone quality is excellent with no cracks. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. A exceptional specimen from one of my favorite localities. An exceptional collector's quality Edmontosaurus jaw section.  Authenticity guaranteed.

A ~4" TOP QUALTIY Megalodon - Golden Beach tooth. Fantastic caramel tan colored crown with an incredible brown colored bourlette (extra large & complete!) and a brown root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent serrations with a damaged tip serration. No hydration cracks on root! Miocene age (10-15 million years ago). A very good size for a Florida Meg tooth.  A couple of small flaws away from an ultra high dollar GEM tooth. No repair - of course! An excellent collector's Golden Beach tooth.
