A TOP QUALITY, 5-3/4" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. An October Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible creamy light tan colored crown with light charcoal patterns and a light tan bourlette. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Excellent color! The bourlette is perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including the good tip serration. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. Note - there was a saw cut to the root ends which was professionally repaired. Otherwise, a perfect tooth. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible Caribbean Meg tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation. A High Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a small section of the lower jaw showing two grooves where the columns of teeth were positioned. Bone quality is very good. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Edmontosaurus jaw section. Authenticity guaranteed.
