A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. A GEM QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from the Ica area of Peru - an upper jaw tooth. An August Fossil of the Month. An excellent dark tan colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel. Sharp serrations are 1oo5 complete with an excellent tip serration. Note - the short serration is pathologic - no damage. Very nice side cusps. The bourlette is orange color and 100% complete. A rare LARGE, Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Boujdour, Western Sahara, Morocco. Enamel quality is excellent with an excellent large bourlette. The serrations are very sharp with a samll amount of damage including a partial tip serration. The side cusps are complete with uniform serrations - (a younger sokolovi version). The root is massive and complete. Exceptional preservation. This tooth is a Late Eocene age, Aridal Formation (approx. 42 million years ago). No repair or restoration! Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare, EXTRA LARGE Chubutensis tooth from Peru - upper jaw tooth. An excellent tan colored crown with no peel. Large side cusps. Extra sharp serrations are excellent with some damage. The bourlette is a light tan color and mostly complete. The root is excellent light tan color, nicely articulated, and complete with few hydration cracks. A GEM quality Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from So. Carolina. Otodus chubutensis or Chubutensis is the extinct ancestor of the Megalodon shark. An August Fossil of the Month.
