A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii, from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Our 2nd November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional chocolate brown colored crown and tan root. The crown has fantastic articulation with incredible detail. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to tips of the 3 cusps on the left side only. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  One of the BEST Archaeocete molars that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth. Museum Quality.  Note - 6" x 8" Riker frame included. One of my favorites!

A GEM Harleyville Auriculatus tooth.  A less common lower jaw anterior tooth - a very difficult position tooth to find. Gorgeous gray colored crown with a black colored bourlette, and light gray root. Highest quality enamel! Exceptionally colored & preserved. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is complete and very well preserved. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. Museum quality.  A killer collector's Harleyville Auriculatus tooth!

A 3-3/16" GEM Harleyville Auriculatus tooth.  A 2nd August Fossil of the Month. An exceptional upper jaw anterior tooth. Gorgeous tan colored crown with a red brown colored bourlette, and red root. Highest quality enamel! Exceptionally colored & preserved. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an good tip serration. The root is complete and well preserved. A killer color tooth from the Lafarge quarry. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. Museum Quality. A colorful, extra large collector's Harleyville Auriculatus tooth! The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus aksuaticus teeth found at this site!
