This tooth is nicely displayed on its original Round Mountain silt matrix. The root is very well preserved with a brown color. Very clean crown. A QUALITY shark vertebra from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Exceptional condition and preservation. Incredibly defined ventral holes. This vertebara aseptate design and resembles a vertebra from Physogaleus. These vertebrae are rarely found and exceptional specimens are extremely difficult to obtain. These vertebrae were found in Miocene Pungo River Formation (15 million years old). Authenticity guaranteed.
