An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. An April Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-3/4" (straight line) or 5" (on curve) and 1-5/8" wide. The enamel is the high quality. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is excellent quality with crack fill. This is a real 5" tooth. Note - this tooth was found in the spring of 2021 and it was exposed to the winter freeze and thaw cycle which cracked the tooth in to pieces. This tooth was professionally prepared and put back together with missing area filled in. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a large section of the lower jaw showing at least 20 teeth still in place. Bone quality is excellent with no cracks. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. A exceptional specimen from one of my favorite localities. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens ulna bone (lower front leg or "arm" bone) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They were mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. This specimen is a excellent with no breaks and only minor crack fill. Bone quality is excellent. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Dakota. An ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth - a large Rex tooth with a partial root (not a shed tooth). An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-3/4".  The enamel has exceptional color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. The serrations are large and wrap around the tip. This tooth was recently erupted and had no tip wear. No hydration cracks or breaks. Note - the root section is 1-1/4"+ and with a wall that is nearly 1/4" thick. Not likely a shed tooth breaking that deep below the gum line. 100% natural tooth. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey.
