A Top Quality Tietea singularis, petrified Tree Fern, trunk slice from the Maranhão Basin, NE Brazil. This tree fern was from the Pedra do Fogo Formation and is Permian age age (265 MYA). Both sides are polished. The interior is highly vascular with unqiue pores and channels that have been silicified into agate. Trunk slice thickness is 3/16" and makes a great display. An incredibly well preserved egg shell section from a Saltasaurus, a Titantosaur sauropod, from Patagonia, Argentina. These egg shell large pieces are larger than most and are massive with a shell thickness up to 1/4". These late Cretaceous age shells were found in the Anacleto Formation (80 MYA) in the Neuquen Province, Patagonia, Argentina. All natural. No restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. A complete spike with excellent articulation. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This spike has exceptional color / patina. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the spike. A HUGE Top Quality, Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco.
