A rare, LARGE, Top Quality Columian Mammoth tooth (Mammuthus columbi), an early elephant molar found in Patricio Co., Texas.  Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Fantastic natural color! An excellent molar with a nicely articulated chewing surface. The molar chewing surface is 8" in length. A complete root. Completely fossilized. Weighs 10.2 lbs. with stand. A TOP QUALITY Deltadromeus tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. Sharp serrations. Excellent red color. Great preservation. Great posterior profile curve. An excellent tooth from a mid size Cretaceous theropod. No cracks. No repair or restoration. These teeth are very uncommon. Please see my Deltadromeus tooth discussion below. This is my best estimate of this species based upon the characteristics of this theropod and distinguishing it from other known Kem Kem theropod species. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Knightia fish from the 18 Inch layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Knightia eocaena is a Herring-like fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA).  This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely dense and difficult to prepare.
