A LARGE Scaldicetus sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. An incredible late Miocene Sperm whale tooth from the Bahia Inglesa Fm. This tooth has great preservation and a fantastic brown color There a small amount of matrix on the rear. A Top Quality Priscacara (Cockerellites) liops fish from the 18" layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Priscacara liops is an extinct Perch from the Eocene age (50 MYA). A GEM, 4-7/8"+" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan and blue colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel - complete! Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and complete! The serrations are large and razor sharp - perfect. An excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 15 MYA). This tooth is from an old collection. One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find another Meg like this one.
