An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus upper toe bone or metatarsal (from toe III - metatarsal - the arctometatarsal) from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. This is metatarsal III which is an arctometatarsals, a shaped wedged metatarsal that strengthened the foot and improved agility. Arctometatarsals are present in Tyrannosaurs, Ornithomimimids and a few other dinosaur species. Excellent bone quality and color. This metatarsal bone is nearly complete. Excellent bone preservation. An EXTRA LARGE, RARE Pectinodon bakkeri tooth from the Hell Creek Fm. of western North America. A premaxillary tooth. Note - this tooth has the same design as Archeroraptor PM tooth (prior Zapsalis) which was thought to be used to preen feathers. An April Fossil of the Month. Pectinodon is a small Troodontid and has teeth similar to Troodon.  Pectinodon are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with a great brown color.  Excellent large posterior and no anterior serrations. No repair or restoration. A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii, from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Our 2nd November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional chocolate brown colored crown and tan root. The crown has fantastic articulation with incredible detail. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to tips of the 3 cusps on the left side only. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  One of the BEST Archaeocete molars that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth. A RARE, Top Quality Dakotaraptor steini (raptor) tooth. A small or subadult adult specimen. Dakotaraptor steini is one of two recently described Hell Creek Fm. raptors. This tooth is 3/8"+.
