A RARE, Top Quality Acheroraptor temertyorum (raptor) tooth. Acheroraptor temertyorum is one of two recently described Hell Creek Fm. raptors. This tooth is 3/8" which is a typical size. The enamel is excellent with a great dark brown color. Multiple prominent longitudinal "ribs" run the length of the crown. Excellent large posterior and small anterior serrations. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw lateral tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  tan crown and a light tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
