A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes (2+ nodes). This spike has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. This is a node cluster with a large node surrounded by a group of small nodes. A GEM Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from an adult Rex. This Rex crown measures 2-13/16" and is very thick (1-1/8"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark brown color. Exceptional serrations that are near complete all the way to the tip on the anterior and posterior sides with the slightest tip wear. Note - This is a recently erupted tooth that is essentially serrated to the tip - quite rare. A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus upper toe bone or metatarsal (from toe III - metatarsal - the arctometatarsal) from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. This is metatarsal III which is an arctometatarsals, a shaped wedged metatarsal that strengthened the foot and improved agility. Arctometatarsals are present in Tyrannosaurs, Ornithomimimids and a few other dinosaur species. Excellent bone quality and color. This metatarsal bone is nearly complete. Excellent bone preservation. A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - a small tip area was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. On the left facing side of tip, it is 1-2 mm. This is top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of Montana. A HUGE, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a very large adult Rex. A June 2020 Fossil of the Month. This massive Rex crown measures 4-9/16" (straight up) or 4-7/8" (straight line) or 5"+ (on curve) and has a big root (2" Wide). The enamel is good quality with some root etchings and natural cracks. Good brown color. The serrations are worn, but visible. The tip is good. Cracks are stabilized with some crack fill. No breaks - possibly one. A natural tooth from a BIG Rex! Note - most teeth of this size that you see are heavy restored and sometimes two teeth are put together! This tooth has original enamel from tip to base. An ULTRA RARE High Quality, 6"+ Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. A May Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 5-13/16" (straight line) or 6-1/4" (on curve) and 1-7/8" wide. The enamel is the very good quality with some wear. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is very good quality with typical crack fill and some wear from tumbling down a Hell Creek stream. This is a real ~6" tooth. No major restoration or fill  and not a "Frankenstein" combination tooth like other sellers have offered. The serrations were very worn and were professionally restored. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is excellent quality with crack fill. This is a real 5" tooth. Note - this tooth was found in the spring of 2021 and it was exposed to the winter freeze and thaw cycle which cracked the tooth in to pieces.
