A LARGE Top Quality Diplomystus  fish from the 18 Inch layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Diplomystus dentatus is a Herring fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) in the ancient Lake Gosiute deposit. These fossil fish are nicely preserved fossils. Note - this matrix had a crack along a layer that was stabilzed. Excellent preservation and preparation. No repair or restoration. All natural.  Authenticity guaranteed. A TOP QUALITY very rare classic Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Lateral tooth. The crown has sharp cutting edges. Excellent tan color with a light tan root and bourlette. The root is ~3/4" thick and shows typical hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Yorktown Formation (Pliocene age). An excellent Scaldicetus sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile.
