A very rare Physeteridae sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. This is a second much rarer late Miocene Sperm whale tooth found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. This tooth is similar to the Sperm whale teeth found at the Sharktooth Hill site. I have only seen four teeth. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no teeth coming from this site 19 years!

A TOP QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from Peru - an upper jaw tooth. Another February Fossil of the Month. An incredible tan and red colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic extra large side cusps. Extra large and sharp serrations are incredible including a good tip serration. The bourlette is a light tan color and 100% complete. Extra wide. The root is excellent brown color, nicely articulated, and nearly complete The only challenge with this tooth is some minor root repair at the very base of the root (see black colored area). An incredibly colored, extra large Peruvian Chubutensis tooth! You won't see any more like this Chub. An ultra rare, Top Quality Ankylosaurus magniventris rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of North America. A June Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds. Note - These incredibly sized dinosaurs had small teeth and this rooted tooth is from a juvenile Ankylosaurus. The enamel is the highest quality with excellent color / patina. An EXTRA LARGE, rare Top Quality Camarasaurus tooth, a late Jurassic sauropod tooth from the Morrison Fm. A September Fossil of the Month. Camarasaurus had robust spoon shaped teeth to tear tough vegetation. This tooth is complete with incredible surfaces. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich black color. Exceptional enamel articulation. There was a small repair at the base of the root only. No repair or restoration to the crown.
