A rare, Top Quality Otodus obliquus shark tooth, the extinct Mackerel shark, from the Muddy Creek, Virginia. Nice tan color. Excellent preservation and condition. An early Eocene tooth. A TOP QUALITY Megalonyx leptostomus sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths and our December 2017 Fossil of the Month. This claw has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete down to a nice tip with absolutely no restoration or repair. Excellent preservation of the proximal end.
