A rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could be Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A July Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 3-1/16" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is highest quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent.  Note - the large base height & width. This tooth comes from a  large Tyrannosaur - possibly Daspletosaurus. The posterior root corner was repaired for aesthetics. No resoration. An ultra rare, Top Quality Judith River Nodosaur body spike from the late Cretaceous of North America. AJune Fossil of the Month. The Campanian age Nodosaurs grew to 22 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor with body spikes along the edge of the body (see Edmontonia photo). Edmontonia is the named Two Medicine Fm. Nodosaur which is a good proxy to the currently undescribed Judith River Fm. Nodosaur. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. A complete side armor spike from a large Nodosaur. ~72 MYA. Note - there is less than 10% professional restoration in small areas for aesthetic purposes at the base. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare collector's quality Ankylosaur body spike. A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional light orange color! The bourlette is excellent and complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Essentially PERFECT serrations with partial damage to one. Exceptional serrations! The root is an excellent white color. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root and the exceptionally large serrations - Miocene traits.  One of the finest examples of a classic Peruvian Miocene Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. A very rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Torvosaurus tanneri  tooth from the Morrison Fm. A January Fossil of the Month. This Torvosaurus crown measures 2" and is 1-1/4" wide. The tooth measures 3-1/4" with the partial root. This is a BIG Torvosaurus tooth big serrations on both carinae (1.5 ser. per mm) and the mesial carina extends less than 1/2 of the crown. The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Minor natural crushing on the left bottom is stabilized. Excellent overall condition. There is minor restoration at the high point of the base of the crown.. Torvosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed.  Note - A Riker display frame is included. A Very Rare, Quality Hexanchus microdon lower jaw tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is incomplete with 4 cusplets and the root is cracked (partial specimen). High quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This incredible specimen is from a 20 year old collection.
