A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. A complete spike with excellent articulation. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This spike has exceptional color / patina. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the spike. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus spike. You don't see these skull pieces very often. An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, GEM Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from Euhaw Creek, Jasper Co., So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice Charcoal Gray color. Lateral tooth. Highest quality enamel with razor sharp edges and a "needle-like" sharp tip. Root is complete, thick (11/16"), nicely articulated, and a very small hydration crack. No wear! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A very difficult tooth to locate.

The PERFECT, very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth. An April 2019 Fossil of the Month. Lateral tooth. The crown has extremely sharp cutting edges. Exceptional light tan & blue color and preservation. An incredible wide bourlette. The root is ~5/8" thick and shows few small hydration cracks! Note- grooves on the sides of the root lobes - a Miocene tooth trait. One of the finest LC lateral Parotodus teeth that I have seen. This incredible Parotodus was found in the Pungo River Formation (Miocene age).
