An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. A fantastic copper-red color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality with hydration cracks. The serrations are sharp and complete with a great tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and mostly dentin layer. The root is complete. A Top Quality Tietea singularis, petrified Tree Fern, trunk slice from the Maranhão Basin, NE Brazil. This tree fern was from the Pedra do Fogo Formation and is Permian age age (265 MYA). Both sides are polished. The interior is highly vascular with unqiue pores and channels that have been silicified into agate. Trunk slice thickness is 3/16" and makes a great display. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and color. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional old collection display piece!
