A LARGE Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis premaxillary (front) tooth from the Morrison Fm. This Allosaurus crown measures 1-1/2". The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. A GEM, 6-3/16" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Our January 2019 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including the big tip serration. Excellent serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. An extra wide root (4-7/8" wide). Great symmetry. Note - the serrations on the right side of the tooth were damaged and professionlly restored. The damaged area was restricted to the edge only. You can see the charcoal gray patterning patterning extending to the edge of the enamel. Otherwise, a perfect tooth. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible, massive 6-3/16" Caribbean Meg tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation. A rare Top Quality PATHOLOGIC Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The end of the crown of this PATHOLOGIC lower lateral tooth is severely twisted lingually (nearly 90 degrees!). This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark and Carcharomodus escheri.. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
