An EXTRA LARGE and very RARE, MUSEUM QUALITY Stenaster sp. Starfish. This very high quality, extra large Starfish is 4-1/2" in length. Incredible detail. Incredible preservation and preparation. Matrix size is 11" x 12". Ordovician age - ~465 MYA. This rare Starfish is from the Hefalla Sandstone, Katouna Fm., Mecissi, Morocco. This is the real deal. No repair or restoration.  One of the highest quality EXTRA LARGE Starfish fossils that I have seen. This is a special specimen!

A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth has short pathologic ribs in the enamel. Possibly an attempt to create serrations. There have been some C. hubellii GW transition teeth found in the mine.  This tooth has a rich two-tone tan crown and a light tan colored root. A GEM HUGE, 4-1/4" CLASSIC Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor - upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. LC006 is an absolute monster sized Chubutensis tooth. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note that the crown exhibits small cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. The bourlette is 100% complete. No enamel peel. The serrations are long, razor sharp, and essentially complete including a good tip serration. Highest quality enamel! The root is an excellent light tan color and complete. An exceptionally large Chubutensis collector's tooth. NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find another early Meg like this one.

A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good.
