A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. Otodus obliquus is the ancestor to O. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. The bourlette is large and complete. Exhibits no serrations.
