A rare Myliobatis barb section from Sumatra, Indonesia. This ray barb was deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's fossil. D191 is the good quality stinger barb section on the left. Authenticity guaranteed.

A LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  blue & tan crown and a light brown colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A beautifully prepared, GEM QUALITY Comura bultyncki trilobite. The collector's favorite spiny trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month.
