An Ultra Rare, Top Quality 4-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A March 2021 Fossil of the Month. This tooth is still embedded in its original Round Mountain silt matrix block with a large whale bone. The whale bone is 7" long and 1.5" wide. Highest quality enamel with an excellent tan color. The bourlette is a tan color and 85% complete. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. This is a middle Miocene Meg - very unique! Note - This is a 100% natural matrix block with nothing added or glued. No repair or restoration other the very tip. You will not see these middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. Authenticity guaranteed. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. An April Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-3/4" (straight line) or 5" (on curve) and 1-5/8" wide. The enamel is the high quality. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is excellent quality with crack fill. This is a real 5" tooth. Note - this tooth was found in the spring of 2021 and it was exposed to the winter freeze and thaw cycle which cracked the tooth in to pieces. This tooth was professionally prepared and put back together with missing area filled in. An ULTRA RARE High Quality, 6"+ Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. A May Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 5-13/16" (straight line) or 6-1/4" (on curve) and 1-7/8" wide. The enamel is the very good quality with some wear. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is very good quality with typical crack fill and some wear from tumbling down a Hell Creek stream. This is a real ~6" tooth. No major restoration or fill  and not a "Frankenstein" combination tooth like other sellers have offered. The serrations were very worn and were professionally restored. An EXCELLENT, large Isurus retroflexus tooth. Heavy and deep root ridges on the reverse side. The root is also extra wide. An excellent I. retroflexus example. Always scarce to locate. Pliocene. Kaltendijk Sand, Doel, Belgium

A HUGE, Top Quality Ptychodus mammillaris, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Kamp Ranch Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with strong transverse ridges across the cusp that transition to a concentric pattern at the base of the cusp. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - one margin has a natural crack which contains matrix within it and the root structure is missing. This is a rare species and a suer rare size - this specimen exceeds the maximum size recorded for Texas!

A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. Authenticity guaranteed. Not perfect tooth - tooth was cracked in half when found. P. mortoni is a rare rare species in Texas, and when teeth get this large they are extremely rare! A massive anterior tooth  - maximum size!
