A rare, Top Quality Avisaurus archibaldi tooth from the Hell Creek Fm. of Montana. A extinct primitive toothed bird from the Enantiornithine bird family. These teeth are triangular and thin, and the crown is non-serrate and may have longitudinal ridges. The root has a strong vertical notch. No cracks. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality Ptychodus polygyrus, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Kamp Ranch Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with 8 to 9 fine transverse ridges extending across the cusp face and transition to a concentric pattern at the base of the cusp. Authenticity guaranteed. Near perfect tooth - root not complete. This is a rare species.
