This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species believed to be Carcharhiniforme shark. A LARGE silica replaced Cyrtospirifer brachiopod. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Exceptional preservation. More than 1"+ thick and heavy! This is a late Devonian (370 mya) brachiopod from Rudkine near Voronezh, Russia. An incredible display piece!

A fantastic, large well preserved Jurassic brachiopod from Poix-Terron, France. All fully inflated and complete. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs.
