A late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. This is most likely a Camarasaurus femur end section. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown color. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. A TOP QUALITY Megalonyx leptostomus sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths and our December 2017 Fossil of the Month. This claw has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete down to a nice tip with absolutely no restoration or repair. Excellent preservation of the proximal end.
