An extinct elephant ancestor that inhabited North America during the late Miocene to late Pliocene. This molar is a big with 5 cusp rows and a small amount of cusp wear. Exceptional articulation. A GEM, EXTRA LARGE Carcharodontosaurus saharicus tooth from the Kem Kem red sand deposits of Morocco. A fantastic deep red colored tooth - the most sought after color. A June Fossil of the Month. This ~4" tooth which is nearly all crown - a BIG tooth. Highest quality enamel with no enamel peel. Exceptional preservation. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Serrated to the tip.
