A LARGE ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Megalodon is an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Excellent copper color. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp. Note - The cutting edge also has multiple enamel waves - very cool - see photo. Bourlette is lighter brown and 80% complete. The root is extra wide & complete with large grooves on the root lobes. This is defintely a Miocene Meg tooth. Note - the tip only was restored.
