An ultra rare, HIGH QUALITY Red Site Otodus (Carcharocles) megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an upper jaw tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. NC009 has good copper red color. The enamel is the good quality. The serrations are sharp including the tip. Bourlette is dark brown and near complete. The root has some damage. A Miocene Meg tooth. A Top Quality Machaeroprosopus (phytosaur) vertebra. Machaeroprosopus is an extinct genus of mystriosuchin leptosuchomorph phytosaur from the Late Triassic of the southwestern United States. The genus was previously refered to as Pseudopalatus. The vertebra bone quality is excellent with great color and patina. Minor crack fill. No restoration. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens metatarsal bone from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The metarsals were the largest toe bones. This bone is metatarsal II from toe 2 from the left foot.  Bone quality is excellent. Minor crack fill. No restoration. An incredibly prepared, GEM QUALITY Erbenochile erbeni trilobite, the "Big Eyes" trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month. German preparation. A very ornate design with thorax spines and incredible "tower" compound eyes! The massive eyes provided 360 degree visual coverage and allowed this trilobite to see behind itself over the thorax.
