A Top Quality, Megalodon tooth - a lower jaw tooth from the ACE River basin, South Carolina. An excellent Golden Tan & Black colored crown. The top of the tooth is golden tan and reverts to black torwards the serrations - very special color combination. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is a large and black color. The serrations are large and sharp with an good tip. The root is charcoal color and complete. An incredibly preserved, LARGE Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, molar found in Alaska. An October Fossil of the Month. Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Fantastic natural red color!  This molar has a nicely articulated chewing surface. A complete root - very rare.
