An EXTRA LARGE, Pathologic Top Quality Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is complete lower jaw tooth from a large shark. Superb preservation and color. Nine primary cusps with a strangely shaped first cusp. An excellent root which is very unique & extremely difficult to find! Note - there is a hair light crack. A near Perfect rare collector's tooth. A TOP QUALITY, 4-5/8" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an lower jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is excellent and near perfect. The serrations are large and razor sharp - essentially perfect with an exceptional tip serration. Excellent serrations - razor sharp! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. Excellent anterior symmetry! This Megalodon was found in the Pungo Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 15 MYA). One of the finest examples of a classic lower jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! A ~5" GEM JET BLACK colored Megalodon - lower jaw ANTERIOR tooth. An exceptional true black crown - not a charcoal gray color. Highest quality enamel - the surface is like glass! The large jet black bourlette is essentially complete. The large serrations are razor sharp with a good tip. The serrations are essentially complete - rare for a big Meg!
