A very rare, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth tip. This tooth tip measures 3/4".  The enamel has good color and patina. Very good anterior and posterior serrations. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Deltadromeus tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. A January Fossil of the Month. There is a strong posterior profile curve which a distinguishes this species. Great preservation withn sharp serrations and an excellent red color. An excellent rare tooth from a mid size Cretaceous theropod. Crack fill at base. No restoration. These teeth are very uncommon. Please see my Deltadromeus tooth discussion below. This is my best estimate of this species based upon the characteristics of this theropod and distinguishing it from other known Kem Kem theropod species. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-3/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Note - the top has some minor planting etching and there is one natural wear facet on the side (very typical for the Campanian Tyrannosaurs). No cracks, repair or restoration.
