An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Carcharias cuspidata tooth, an extinct Sand Tiger shark, from the Mainz Basin, Germany. A lower jaw anterior tooth. An early Oligocene age tooth (Rupelian - 32 MYA). A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. A November Fossil of the Month.The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits "wavy serrated" edges similar to the Isurus escheri tooth. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich tan & blue crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A HUGE, TOP QUALITY Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Kem-Kem region of Morocco. An October Fossil of the Month. High quality enamel with well preserved and pronounced grooves running up the crown. Little crown tip wear for a big tooth. A fantastic deep red patina - rare color for a Spino tooth, and the surface has a drusy crystalline appearance - very nice and very rare. Plus this is an extra thick BIG Spino tooth that would have been easily 1-1/2" thick at the base - see photo. One of the fattest Spino teeth that I have seen. No cracks. No repair and restoration. A very special, big collector's tooth from an extra large Spinosaurus - the 50 foot variety! Plus rare deep red color with a crystalline surface. A rare Top Quality Megalodon tooth from the St. Mary's River, Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. A June Fossil of the Month. The crown has excellent unique red & tan color with unique St. Mary's River red circles. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. A Large Red colored bourlette which is complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a red brown color, nicely articulated, robust, and complete. This tooth is an excellent example a very scarce, top quality St. Mary's River Red Meg. Incredible color with circle patterns!
