A Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia. A MArch Fossil of the Month. The crown has excellent Blue color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with very small hydration cracks. An BLACK colored bourlette which is mostly complete. Razor sharp, extra large serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a charcoal color, nicely articulated, and complete. This tooth has extra large root end grooves and the base of the serrations has two unique pathologies (possible Chubutensis? (see close up photos) Traits of a Miocene age Megalodon tooth. A Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw tooth. The crown has excellent unique tan color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. A Large Black colored bourlette which is 80% complete. Extra large, razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a dark tan color, nicely articulated, robust, and complete. This tooth is exhibits extra large serrations and grooves on the root ends. A rare, Top Quality ~5" CLASSIC Chile Megalodon tooth from the sand layer, Bahia Inglesa Fm., Caldera area, Chile. A March Fossil of the Month. An excellent light tan colored crown with no enamel peel. Good quality enamel. The bourlette has a nice mahogany brown color and is 100% complete. The serrations are sharp with some damage. The root is excellent tan color and extra wide with a small sliver of damage on the side of the root. Good "eye appeal". Great symmetry. No repair or restoration. A rare Chilean Megalodon tooth from the old days! A Top Quality Eurypterus lacustris, the "Sea Scorpion", from Buffalo, New York. A November Fossil of the Month. This is a spooky looking arthropod that are related to arachnids, such as, the Horseshoe crab. It was found in the Williamsville Fm., Bertie Group of western New York and it is Silurian age (430 mya). A complete specimen that is nicely displayed on shale matirx. A RARE, Top Quality Dakotaraptor steini (raptor) tooth. A near or small adult specimen. Dakotaraptor steini is one of two recently described Hell Creek Fm. raptors. An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth is 9/16" which is a good sized. The enamel is excellent with a great dark brown color with some root etching. This tooth does not have the multiple prominent longitudinal "ribs" run the length of the crown. Excellent large posterior and small (weak) anterior serrations.
