A Top Quality Serratolamna koerti, an extinct Sand Tiger shark, tooth from the phosphate mines of Hahotoe, Togo. A lateral tooth. Note - this tooth developed a cool pathology to the right cusp area due to biting a dislodged tooth. Excellent color and preservation. This tooth is Lutetian age (45 MYA), lower middle Eocene.
