A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional molar tooth (see photo for tooth positions). A July Fossil of the Month. A rare Top Quality Megalodon tooth from the Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. The crown has excellent unique charcoal gray color. The enamel is the Highest Quality. A Large Black colored bourlette which is 85% complete. Razor sharp serrations including an good tip serration. The root is a charcoal black color, nicely articulated, thick (1-1/8"), and complete. An ultra rare, ~5" GEM Incredibly Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible deep red colored crown. Exceptional color! Note - you rarely see a copper-red Megalodon shark tooth that has a top quality crown, root and serrations - a top .1% tooth from this site! This is one of the finest big Megs from this site and I would say the finest deep red colored big Meg tooth from this site! This is also one of the earliest Megs coming from the copper-red site. The October 2015 Week #2 FOTM is a rare, TOP QUALITY North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon. An excellent tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible copper-red colored crown. The enamel is the highest possible quality with small hydration cracks. A nice dark brown bourlette. Exceptional serrations and tip - one serration missing. Incredible condition for a big NC Meg.
