A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. A Very Rare, Quality Squalus vondermarcki tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Squaliforme shark. The crown is complete and the root may not be complete. High quality enamel. No repair.
